What neighborhoods do you serve?

East Village Pets provides cat-sitting service for New York City pet owners who live in the East Village, NYC. We also offer overnight care in other areas of Manhattan.

How much experience do you have working with animals?

I grew up with dogs, cats, and even a horse. Over the years I learned so much from my animals, how to pick up on their body language and actions, which led me to better understand how to communicate and take care of them. I adopted an epileptic German Shepherd many years ago and quickly learned how to administer medication to bring the dog out of grand mal seizures. That was a tough lesson, but it taught me a lot. I also lived with two wonderful cats who both made it to 19 years-old, and when they passed it was absolutely heartbreaking. We become so attached to our furry friends, and they bring much joy to our lives.

I started pet sitting while working as a freelance graphic designer in NYC a few years ago, and now I work with a small team of trusted, experienced pet care-givers to provide excellent customer service to clients and their pets. References are available upon request.

Do you offer overnight stays for cats?

Yes, if you have a cat that requires extra attention, special feeding times, or medications, we can stay overnight. And we'll also water your plants, and bring in the mail if you'd like. The charge is $75 per night,

What type of payments do you accept?

For now we accept cash or payment via Venmo (There is an additional 5% charge if payment is made via Venmo).
